These terms sit alongside the Terms and Conditions. They cover the parts that are specific to a business using ChinarPOS to take orders, accept payments and run its operations.
1. Setting up your business
- You tell us your business details, branches and team. You keep them accurate.
- We may ask for documents to verify your business before you can accept online payments. That verification is done by our payment partner under its own rules.
- You decide which branches, order types and payment methods you use.
2. Your responsibilities as a trader
- You are responsible for your prices, your menu, the accuracy of what you tell customers, and the food and goods you sell.
- You are responsible for your own tax registrations and filings. ChinarPOS calculates tax according to the settings you and we configure and produces reports to help you, but it does not file returns or give tax advice.
- You are responsible for refunds, discounts and store credit you choose to give, and for the staff you allow to give them.
3. Team access and approvals
Owners choose each team member's role. Sensitive actions, such as large discounts, refunds and closing a till with a cash difference, can require a manager's personal PIN. We record who did what so you can review it. You are responsible for how your team uses these tools.
4. Customers' information
When you add customers or take orders, you are collecting personal information about your customers. We process it for you to run the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for telling your customers how you use it.
5. Products that are not available yet
Web Ordering, mPOS, the White-Label Ordering App, the Employee App and ChinarPOS Hardware are Coming Soon. Using ChinarPOS today does not entitle you to them. If we release them, they will come with their own terms.
